If it would just stop raining and imitate some semblance of spring for longer than three minutes before raining/snowing/hailing/all three simultaneously again, I would buy
this blouse. I would then wear it every spring day until it fell apart.
(Isn't $264 quite a lot for a blouse though? Even with the exchange rate making it £132 it's straining the upper limit of my blouse budget. It is such a pretty blouse though, and you know how I feel about checks.)
I enjoy typing "blouse" so, don't you?
Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteJust learned my credit/debit card was hacked/ pirated / hijacked! Not sure how this relates but until I fill out some form I am down 500 quid... OUCH!!! I keep on translating the (temporarily?) lost money into things that I really wanted but thought I couldn't afford... BB
ReplyDeletecool word yes "blouse"...but totally too expensive!!! c'mon it's cotton....

That blouse is very cute! But, yes, I agree, $264 is a tad much!
ReplyDeleteI'm not the only one that lives where the weather is all screwed up. 75 degrees on Saturday and 45 degrees and raining on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say, it makes buying just about anything difficult.
oh no BB, wait until you find out what they spent your money on!
ReplyDeleteI agree the blouse is too expensive - I think it's silk though. Still too expensive...
This blouse is really pretty, but too expensive ^^
ReplyDeletedouble ouch!! (blouse price + BB accident)

Just learned that they tried to spend it at Argos and Miss Butterfly... If only they could have spent it somewhere better. If you're going to blow 700 quid, then why not get yourself over to Dior and buy a... key chain.... BB
ReplyDeleteI love this blouse...yes, it is a fun word to type. :) And, it MIGHT be worth it if you really wear it every day til it falls apart...and at $264...that should be never! :)
ReplyDelete$264 is far too much for a blouse. Even a pretty one.
ReplyDeleteBut I might feel differently if I earned more money.
Hello Lola is B.
ReplyDeleteI recall you relining a coat with some super volksfaden stuff recently..well I want to pick your brain for good relining places in South East London/anyLondon, having tried the Nulli Secundus tailor in the Walworth road and been quoted £150. Normal? Or did you do it yourself? if so, respect.
Enjoying your writing, A.
A: Thanks and I was too lazy to do it myself! I took it to my dry cleaners. If you have one you trust that does alterations they should be able to do it as it's not a difficult job. But £150 is ridiculous! They should make you a coat for that!! I think I paid £35 to re-line the coat - as I provided the fabric - otherwise it would have been £45. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, but expensive!!
ReplyDeletevery pretty! but yes, very expensive. you might like the shirts at Steven Alan or on etsy -- in stores such as wilkenson made (sp?)
ReplyDeletexoxo joanna
Hi Joanna - that's a good idea to buy Steven Alan online - I don't think they ship here from their website but I'm sure another site does. And Wiksten, le sigh...if only my refresh button was fast enough when she updates her shop I would buy every shirt she makes!
