WEEKEND WANDERINGS, WISTERIA ET LES SACS JOLI...

Pretty spring days and two bags. I'm trying to pre-empt the day when my massive Anna Corinna tote falls apart (and I cry) by having a back up. The stripy one is from Gap and the clutch is an Ally Capellino one that I'd seen in a local shop. Remember my beloved clutch bag that the dry cleaners destroyed about five million years ago? This, finally, is its replacement - and it was half price because of a teeny, weeny mark on it.

I'm making it sound like I had such a neat and tidy perfect little weekend. But there was also way.too.much.of.this:

Always say never again. Those glasses are all mine. Even a small amount of white or rose wine really, really doesn't agree with me. I know this and yet...Oh and the joys of day time drinking where your hangover kicks in at 7pm. Blaerrgh.

I'll never forget the clutch bag trauma... It's a story I've repeated many times! Every time I pass a dry cleaner's, actually! So I'm happy the story now has a happy Ally Capellino ending.

I tote along two bags too... I dread the day that they split from the weight of their contents.

Looks like a dreamy weekend, even with the booze :)

I really did not think through being pregnant over the summer. Sigh. There is only so much ginger beer one can drink with it still being somewhat novel and virtuous... xxx

YES! the joys of the sring-into-summer turn of season. finishing work when the sun is shining makes me want to drink drink drink. and i am in complete agreement about the white wine. such a summery drink vs the worst hangovers EVER.
and i always do it, and always regret it.
i love the summer.

emma, that's so funny that you remember the clutch bag trauma so well...in a twist of karmic fate the dry cleaners that destroyed it has now closed down so you're safe!

Re: summer boozing - I'm still feeling un peu delicate 2 days later...

Erica: the top is from Mulberry (sample sale) and I can't even look a glass of rose in the eye now...

Fi: at least you get something good at the end of your abstinence...
