SCRAPS...

Feet: meet your new shoes. Cheap and cheerful from Zara and make all your clothes look better. How do they do that?

It's surprising that it's so hard to find any of these clips of Kate Moss in Ellen von Unwerth's film Inferno. Really bad quality but worth it to see a much younger Kate scampering around...

Aaaannnd lovely vintage/Lyell store Marie Louise de Monterey has a blog now. So if you're not in Paris you (I) can admire their wares from afar...and le sigh a little...

I'm going somewhere there are no shops and no internet (it's not Burma or rehab.)
Back on Monday - bon weekend!

hi there! i saw you lived in florence/visit there. i too, live there during the summers, and i'm wondering if you can share any little vintage places you know of. i am quite familiar with the major ones like Pitti vintage and a few others, and then there is also one near ponte vecchio along the arno. any more you might suggest? ciao!

Love the style of the shoes, however not a lover of Kate Moss.

caroline - I tried to find the one near the ponte vecchio (is it called Nadine?) but I didn't find it. I haven't had that much luck with finding others. Do they still have the Cascine market on Tuesdays? (I think) that used to be good for buying really cheap things but you had to rummage with a load of old ladies! I was talking to a lady at Elio Ferraro who said there were others that had been there a long time but further out, probably outside the Viale - but I don't know where unfortunately...if you find out let me know!

*I mean I think the Cascine market is on Tuesdays - I know I've bought vintage stuff at a stall there for pennies...
