OOHLALA/HOORAY...

Sofia's back!

{via Fashionologie}

...And here's the director's cut of the commercial.

  1. Yes, should have thought of this. The best way to escape a hole is by flying out, tethered to a multi-coloured set of balloons, and if doing aforementioned, then why not over Paris? BB

  2. hmmm...although it's good to see the stylish one being active and present once more, I do wish Sofia was lending herself to something that smelt less execrably odious than this bucket of sickly sweet popcorn poop. I think I have made my point.

  3. haha, I haven't had the pleasure of smelling it but I probably wouldn't bother anyway. Most mainstream perfumes smell like poop. I bet Sofia only let John Galliano spray it on her wrists that one time for a photo op, then went home and washed it off to be replaced by Serge Lutens... I'm just happy Sofia is directing again.

    I totally agree with your thoughts about mainstream perfumes, I guess Sofia needed some cash (and rightly so) after the so unfairly criticized Marie Antoinette, which I adored.

  5. I was waiting for something bigger and better from Sofia than a perfume ad however, it is lovely....

  6. It's a gorgeous ad, although I agree it seems highly unlikely that either she or John Galliano actually like this. I've read that she wears Serge Lutens Fleur D'Oranger most recently but before that I read she liked Fracas. Both great choices, she is obviously a fragrance connoisseur.

  9. I do think Sofia's balloons are much nicer! Who was Ellen referencing then? Le Ballon Rouge maybe?

  10. This ad is perfect. The colors of the ballons with the city - I love it.
