THE LONDON WEATHER REPORT...
The silence could only mean one thing. I had to get up to see and what I see is a light icing sugar coating of white over everything. Lola has gingerly investigated and confirms that it is snow. Does this mean I have a feeling for snow - even though I've been predicting snow every day for the past month? Got to get back to it before it's gone...

Stacy: it's literally just a sprinkling but oh so exciting...
Lottie: Oh, it's all melting already...There was snow on the ground at about 6am - honest! So much for my taking pictures when it got light.

yay - something delighful and a celebration. and the chance for yummy chocolate when you come in from the icy fun.
Is it enough to make some proper snow angels yet? I live outside Buffalo, NY- snow capital of the northeast. I'll send as much as you want over the Atlantic. Happy New Year!
Ha! No, unfortunately there was approx half a millimetre which lasted about an hour, then a few pretty drifty snowflakes wafting around intermittently...
Sorry everyone for being so obsessed with weather!
p.s Stephanie - happy new year!
