...is miniscule! Everyone keeps going on about engraved IPods and whether Michelle touching her back broke protocol; or that Prince Philip made a gaffe (hardly a newsflash). But nowhere is it mentioned that Her Maj has shrunk. I know Michelle is 6 foot 3 or something, but ER barely grazes the mantelpiece, she's only just taller than a table lamp. Sorry but that's news.

obama is a huge cheeseball in nearly every photo i've see of his trip. it's like christmas for him--pretty endearing in spite of the economic and political woes...

I noticed that too, even Prince Philip looked miniscule next to the Obamas. Makes me want to give Her Majesty a big hug. Which of course would be against protocol lol

And that picture appeared on the day I was reading in Tina Brown's book about Diana, how D's mother referred to the royal family as 'Those German dwarves'. It was news to me, too!
