THIS WEEK'S WANDERING...

* Regretsy. Sometimes, when I'm doing something serious, one of these "brainchildren" will pop into my head and I'll start snickering uncontrollably. {via Decorno}

* This {via ii-ne-kore via If Jane} and this have convinced me to start a Japan by any means necessary fund.

* Niotillfem - around this time of year I start craving happy colour and hygge again. (edit: I just remembered she's Swedish, not Danish but nevermind.)

* Liselotte Watkins {via July Stars} and Miel et Cannelle {via I can't remember} - more happy rummaging around in creative minds.

*And I keep meaning to do a post about Anvil but I can't seem to do it justice. I wouldn't watch it for ages, not being entirely convinced by the sound of a documentary about a not very successful Canadian heavy metal band. Finally I grouchily submitted and...You have to watch it.
I hope they win an Oscar for the film. Aaaannnnnvvvviiiiiiilllllll!
(I also want this T shirt.)

Definitely a must-have t-shirt if you just have the necessary panache to carry it off . Sadly I have the feeling I don't .

I interviewed Jason Schwartzman a few days ago and let him know that he is much loved by girls in the know in Britain...
Also, I went to Japan in March this year and I can confirm it's amazingness...by any means necessary, you must go.

What! You interviewed JS??? Need to know more! I saw him on BBC London news at the premiere of Fantastic Mr Fox on Wed and the interviewer had to cut him off to hand over to the studio and he sort of jumped in the shot and went "Hey, What's up!" So silly, so cute. I'm hoping to bump into him this weekend...

he was very lovely...and a little flirtatious. We exchanged stories of how we met our partners as he is a newly wed too and then i bored him with tales of PhD-doom and my Sofia obsession and he had to pretend to be interested, poor lamb! but then i remembered that i was supposed to be interviewing him and noticed that he had slyly turned the whole thing around into an opportunity for me to blather on, whilst he had a quiet little rest...clever, very clever! I maaged to ask him a few questions about FMF before being asked to scoot by a PR person. His 'minder' was a pooface though and asked me if i was interviewing the big JS for the school magazine (I'm small, but not that small)...sadly, I couldn't think of a blinding retort in time so I just pretended to be interested in the ceiling instead...not cool.
p.s did you see him over the weekend?

oh, he is Monsieur Le Fromage indeed. And such a sly one - even managed to keep his wedding under wraps until a month later! I was devastated-ish. I didn't bump into him unfortunately - probably best as I would probably have said, Oh my god I'm so happy to meet you, I love your cousin Sofia or something...Anyway you are very lucky to interview him - was it for anything I can see/read?

JS didn't make it into too much of the article alas...due to his interviewing me...so canny.
