Only.com asked me a while ago to blog for them about style, ideas and inspirations - which I'm always more than happy to blather on about. The posts that have been published so far are here, here and here.

Love this image and the posts!
Are we eventually going to come to the nail polish and the ace of hearts? That was my favorite...
Related point / Q: were sunglasses more androgynous before? I rewatched Un homme et une femme last night and the Duroc character was wearing sun glasses I initially mistook for a woman's pair...
BB
Oh stripes, stripes! I love them piled up like this...
BB - oh, nail varnish always gets a look in with me...
Re: sunglasses, hmm, I would say that women's sunglasses used to be more feminine and men's might look less masculine - they tended to be smaller. Come to think of it, there were only a few styles around then which are still the ones we keep coming back to. Going to watch it now!
Oh, these posts are wonderful.
oh fun!!! love love love.
oh yes..i too was curious about the red nail polish and ace of hearts (ace of hearts is success...)
ok and now i too have to watch the film...not fair bb studied beforehand! ;)
Oh, thanks for the positive response!
Re: nail polish and playing cards - the red nail varnish and ace of hearts could be there to represent Steve McQueen's success with the ladies...maybe...
Or it could be Catherine Deneuve's...(Marcello)
Very very beautiful!
