I can't stop watching this video (but it gives me unfortunate visualisations of Damon Albarn being drunk and unable to, um perform). In any case, I miss Justine - why isn't there anyone as cool as her?
"Frischmann moved to Boulder, Colorado in 2005, where she studied visual arts at Naropa University, a small, Buddhist-inspired liberal arts college. In July 2008 Frischmann married a U.S. college professor. Her first solo art show, "Deposit and Friend of Deposit", was in 2008 at the Nalanda Gallery in Boulder. She describes her paintings as "a combination of expressionistic and modern" art."[3]
She now lives and works in San Rafael, California where she lives with her husband, who is a professor of atmospheric science at the University of California-Davis."
Fantastic! I loved Elastica, I distinctly remember going through a period in my teens of wearing nothing but black shirts and needle cords and whining constantly about not being allowed to cut my hair like Justine!
Aww, Elastica was (still is) awesome! My favorite song is Blue. I never thought that the 90's could have that cool nostalgic feeling as the decade really doesn't seem that far away. Yet here I am, nostalgic. Ha, I guess I'm getting old.
