...

I've got some kind of internet malaise this week, hence the quietness here. My daily internet meanderings are usually inspirational, but recently the amount of information I take in on a daily basis has become more draining than anything, which is no one's fault but my own. I'm struggling to keep up with all the things I must read - but what would happen if I didn't? Not much probably. So I've been limiting my internet time, sticking with reading a fairly tedious and very long book, drinking lots of tea, writing stuff down in a journal and turning this new year round and round, trying to get a feel for what might be good to do with it.
 p.s. here's a pic of Lola's favourite Christmas present.

I've been feeling the same way lately, while finding it difficult to give up reading certain blogs/read them less often without feeling as if I was goin to miss out on something. But I definitely encourage those off-internet activities (even if it means less blogging), because that's what's really inspirational, I think. Also, what a fantastic gift Lola received for Christmas!

good luck with the cumbersome required reading and wishing you much inspiration for the new year x

I've come down with it too, I actually went two days without so much as firing my laptop up this week. So much so that I seem to have abandoned all plans to get my arse in gear and actually blog regularly this year, can't explain it - all motivation evaporated. Very strange.

you're not alone there. i've decided a lot of the internet has to go in 2011. well, not go, per se, just go from my radar.. i figure i can fill the time with slightly more 'real world' interactive things. and, speaking of, i need to email you :)

I think the internet has a negative effect on a person's attention span...plus I always feel slightly ill after looking at the internet for hours...plus horrendously guilty because more often than not I was supposed to be doing something else! Hence why the only blog I read consistently is yours!

Oh the internet malaise.. It happens, but at some point one recovers. Hehe. I've never been much into this Audrey H -- Audrey Horne, however, is another story.
