Lovely post. I fully agree on how men look at women. New York has its own looking culture, which is different. Everyone looks at everyone -- men at women, women at men. The content of the gaze can vary within some accept parameters: inquisitive, appreciative, observant. But there is something honest and liberating about it. If your eyes alight on something beautiful, why not let them rest there for a moment, appreciatively? xx BB
