Plop is a TV caracter for kids. PLop is a 'kabouter' don't know the English word for that. A small human like creature which wears a hat and it's not a smurf. Didn't you think Belgium roads were crowded?
Ah, now it all makes sense. I really wanted to go to Plopsaland too! It just sounds funny in English - the word plop that is...
I think the route we took was the main freight route across Europe, so it was very crowded with lorries.
