...is miniscule! Everyone keeps going on about engraved IPods and whether Michelle touching her back broke protocol; or that Prince Philip made a gaffe (hardly a newsflash). But nowhere is it mentioned that Her Maj has shrunk. I know Michelle is 6 foot 3 or something, but ER barely grazes the mantelpiece, she's only just taller than a table lamp. Sorry but that's news.

obama is a huge cheeseball in nearly every photo i've see of his trip. it's like christmas for him--pretty endearing in spite of the economic and political woes...
i thought prince P was looking pretty diminuitive himself.
i actually went "aww omg look at Liz.. shes TINY" when i saw it so I have to agree with you.
I noticed that too, even Prince Philip looked miniscule next to the Obamas. Makes me want to give Her Majesty a big hug. Which of course would be against protocol lol

And that picture appeared on the day I was reading in Tina Brown's book about Diana, how D's mother referred to the royal family as 'Those German dwarves'. It was news to me, too!
This just further pushes the idea in my mand that everyone wants the queen as a third grandmother.
