FROM THE DEPTHS...
I have a load of torn out pages from nineties Italian Vogues that I couldn't bear to part with when I moved back to London from Italy (and couldn't exactly bring my magazine stash with me). I found them in a drawer today, and though I wonder why I went to such trouble to keep some of the images, others, like this one, still resonate with me more than ten years later. I might post some more of them now and then.
It would be lovely to look and feel like her today; instead I make copious cups of tea and forget to drink them, everything I wear is too hot or too cold ten minutes later and I would simply look ridiculous in a hat like that.

oh it is a great photo! glad you kept it and please post some more...;))
ooh yes, she is incredibly cool but i bet you look lovely even if you're too hot/cold. x
sorry you are feeling low-- I am, too-- perhaps due to the 1187th day of rain in 3 weeks?!! possibly? but mostly, LOVE that sweater and want her figure to go with it . . then it could rain all it wanted to ..

Mia - bloody thing's not available in my country due to copyright restriction - damn them. what is it??
This proves that I should keep all my old magazines. I have a huge collection of very old Italian, French and Japanese Vogue, Jalouse, L'Officiel and other less interesting publications. They're rotting away in a shed and my husband keeps threatening to burn them! I know what you mean about feeling hot and cold, I feel like I'm going through the early stages of menopause despite only being 31. I hate this weather with a passion. It's truly depressing.
do not allow him to burn them - very important time capsule. I know, English summer is making me estremely grumpy: get up, sunny day, put on dress, go out, feel cold, put on cardigan, sun out again, too hot, rain starts, go home and put on thick tights(!) or trousers, then later boots and a jacket. Thank god I work from home and can be near my wardrobe.
oh no! actually it's nothing remotely connected with fashion (damn, that's not totally true, the director of this vid is Spike Jonze, who was married to Sofia Coppola, if I remember correctly) it's just a very cute video for the song "Island in the Sun" by Weezers. Too bad you can't see it...
