PROFIT AND LOSS...

Ohhh, I want to stamp my feet and fling myself into a ball on the sofa. Because I saw these RetroSuperFuture Lucia Havana sunglasses in Liberty but couldn't justify the £90 price. And now they've put the price up to £130. Why is life so desperately cruel and unfair, I ask you.

I'm over it now.

yeah that's bad... not really sure what to say... I left my £180 sunglasses (I am not rich, they were a MAJOR purchase) in a nail salon and I had only gone there to cheer a friend up and the manicure was awful. Of course I didn't get them back. Sunglasses are a tricky thing.

there must be something wrong with me or I am losing all perspective, but these don't seem too badly priced when compared with the ridiculously elevated prices of most designer sunglasses these days??? Having said this, I would probably never spend more than £20 on a pair as a) i am always losing them b) I am yet to find a pair that I don't look ridiculous in and c) there is never any sun in Edinburgh whatsoever.
If you're the sort of person who never loses sunglasses, I'd go for it and count it as a necessary household expense...they're very pretty

I hate it when they do that. But they are super fab! Liberty's has THE coolest vintage sunglass collection. iv'e been looking for another place like it in London, but haven't found it yet...any ideas?

I find if I buy proper ones (not super expensive, but Rayban or something at least) I tend to not lose them as much. But hmmm I almost could've splurged at £90, but I have two other perfectly decent tortoiseshell pairs...

Emily - The only place I know that's good for vintage frames is an Opticians in Wardour Street - I don't remember the name but they have loads that you can put your prescription in, so I'm sure they'd put dark glass in. But they're not cheap, oh no...

Oh Lord, gutting! I feel for you and can only suggest that they might come down in the sale at some point soon?
